Eindelijk ging het ene ei na het andere open.

“Maar het is zo prettig, in het water te zwemmen,” zei het eendje
De moeder der eendjes ging met haar hele familie naar de gracht toe.

De volgende dag was het mooi, heerlijk weer; de zon scheen op alle groene bladeren.
